For Individuals
A Personal Data Store (or PDS) empowers individuals and puts them in control of how their data is used.
Individuals own their information. An individuals' data is created by their life experiences, interests and interactions. With a PDS, they have primary ownership and authority over how it's accessed and used.
An individual can control who sees what. Individuals should have the freedom to decide which parts of their data are shared publicly, kept private, or accessed only by specific people and services they trust. A PDS gives them that control.
Keep data safe and private. Strong encryption and no data sharing means what's theirs stays there. An individual's data never leaves their PDS; instead, they can grant or revoke access to any slice of their data as needed.
